Scott Van Binsbergen
President of Van Binsbergen & Associates Inc
Scott holds a BA in Political Science from Moorhead State University. He began his career as a legislative aide to Congressman Vin Weber and Senator Rudy Boschwitz. With over 25 years of experience as a successful business owner, Scott has established and owns various companies that have employed hundreds of individuals in Minnesota. One of his companies, Health Providers, Inc., was responsible for developing and managing healthcare facilities for seniors and adults with disabilities. Currently, Scott serves as the President of Van Binsbergen & Associates Inc., a company that owns and manages apartments in 70 communities across Minnesota and 35 communities in Kansas, Nebraska, and Iowa, employing over 100 individuals. Scott also holds a real estate license and has served on numerous boards, including two banks, and is a member of the Minnesota Board of Accountancy.

Peter Birkey
Chartered Financial Analyst
Peter brings extensive experience in providing strategic advice on business strategy, environmental and social governance, asset allocation, enterprise risk management, investments, and personnel. He previously served as the chair of the Corporate Governance and Nominating Committee and a member of the Audit Committee on the board of Pretivm Resources (NYSE: PVG). He has held senior leadership positions at Liberty Mutual and Amerus Capital Management, and has served on the boards of energy, mining, and real estate companies in Europe, South America, Canada, and the United States. Peter holds a Master of Business Administration with highest honors from the University of Chicago, a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business Administration from Coe College.

Michael Jacobs
Transactional Lawyer
Michael is a transactional lawyer with over 20 years of experience providing strategic corporate counsel on mergers & acquisitions, business structuring and governance, corporate finance, and private company succession planning. He has a wealth of experience working with banks, regional and national developers on commercial real estate transactions and serves as a board advisor to several companies. Michael holds an MBA from the University of St. Thomas.

Nate Zuidema
Former Insurance Executive
Nate is a former insurance executive who started his own insurance brokerage company. He brings a diverse skill set, having been involved in every aspect of running and owning a business, including sales, marketing, IT, operations, finance, and mergers & acquisitions. After selling the firm, Nate has focused on investing in commercial real estate, business start-ups, consulting, and philanthropy. He has served on numerous non-profit boards of directors, providing leadership and strategic planning. Nate holds a degree in Education from St. Cloud State University, with a minor in Coaching.
